TokenGuard ("we", "our", "us") operates the website tokenguards.com and provides the TokenGuard SDK and dashboard service. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (used for authentication and communication)
• Password (stored encrypted, we never see your plain text password)

When you use the TokenGuard SDK, we collect:

• AI model name (e.g. gpt-4o, claude-3-5-sonnet)
• Token counts (input tokens, output tokens)
• Calculated cost in USD
• Feature label (if provided by you)
• Customer ID (if provided by you)
• Timestamp of the API call

What We Do NOT Collect

We take your privacy seriously. TokenGuard never collects:

• The content of your AI prompts or responses
• Your API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or any provider
• Any personal data about your end users beyond the customer ID you choose to provide
• Cookies for advertising or tracking purposes

How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to:

• Display your AI cost dashboard with real-time spend tracking
• Calculate model swap suggestions to help you save money
• Send you budget alerts when configured
• Process payments through Stripe
• Respond to support requests

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security enabled. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. We use Cloudflare for DDoS protection and Stripe for secure payment processing. We never store your payment card details directly.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase - database and authentication
• Stripe - payment processing
• Vercel - website hosting and analytics
• Cloudflare - DNS, email routing, and API hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Data Retention

Free tier accounts retain usage data for 7 days. Pro accounts retain data for 90 days. You can delete your usage data at any time from the Models page in your dashboard. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time through your dashboard
• Delete your usage data from the dashboard
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us
• Export your data (available on Pro and Team plans)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
